The book, titled "Washed,” is a mark of resistance. This 48-inch accordion spread with 42 sides of prints represents bodies that have been fighting the viciousness of the world of gender conformity. The prints stand as a testament to the resistance of one's self despite being put through events that could alter one's reality, which caters to patriarchal society. The prints are a combination of cyanotype and gum dichromate as well as menstrual blood as pigment. The accordion unfolds into an exhibit, which is to be seen from all sides.
